Who are Picture It Schools?
Picture It Schools is a division of Picture It PhotoArt, a company started by Sue Hext in 2005. Picture It PhotoArt offers our own unique images on innovative and sometimes unique media. We can also restore your old photos, digitally bring families together, change backgrounds, colours, add paint and drawing effects, remove distractions in an image etc to create something that bit different. Whilst much of the work we undertake is commission based, Sue also produces her own art in new and contemporary ways.
The latest member of the Picture It Family is Picture It Schools which produces pupil art for display in the playground. Picture It PhotoArt launched a Garden Art range (originally called Picture It Outside) in July 2008 at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. We met quite a few teachers or playgroup leaders during the show who asked about decorating their school playgrounds with our outside art. As a result of that we have come up with an exciting promotion which not only allows a child to see their art in the playground but there is also the facility for the school or group to raise funds for their organisation through our school fundraising packages, maybe even funding their project!
